About Dr. JD Butcher
Born in East Texas in 1938, JD has led a remarkable life shaped by service, education, and ministry. He began his journey in 1958 by joining the U.S. Army, where he specialized in Field Radio Repair and served both in America and Germany. Following his military service, he dedicated part of his career to the Texas Criminal Justice system.
JD is a lifelong learner, having pursued his education across numerous respected institutions from 1962 to 2024, including Sam Houston University, the University of Houston, Texas Bible College, Pentecostal Bible Institute, and GPS Seminary. His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Theology, Master of Theology, and a Doctor of Divinity.
